What is Loose Frames?

 Loose Frames is a Los Angeles-based showcase that highlights independent animators, cultivates discussion and encourages collaboration. 

Our hope is to inspire all people to pursue their artistic goals and to feel empowered to start sharing their work with others. The series was founded in 2019 by Kat Ball and takes a different form in each place it inhabits.  Our live events take place locally, but we are excited to work with and amplify the art of animators from all over the world.
